You can now login to Plant Assessor using your Microsoft or Google account login. If the email address from your Plant Assessor membership is associated with a Microsoft or Google account, you can now use these credentials to login.
The exisiting email and password login method is still available for all other accounts.
How does it work?
Federated Identity (also known as Social Login) works by allowing a trusted central server to check your credentials, and check your Identity. Plant Assessor will then trust the centralised server, and logs you in with the same email address. Its quick, easy, and allows you to use the same account to login to multiple systems.
I already have an account, but I want to use federated ID
If you use a Federated Identity provider with the same email address, we will automatically link your account.
- Head to the login page
- Select either Microsoft or Google buttons
- Login to your Identity Provider with the same email address you use for your Plant Assessor Account
- Your Federated Identity and Plant Assessor Login are automatically linked
- You’re all done!
I have been invited to use Plant Assessor, can I use federated ID to accept?
Yes, just use the link to Federated Identity in your email to accept the invitation.
I don't have an account. Can I use federated ID to register?
Yes, just use the link to Federated Identity in your email to confirm your email address.
What if I don't want to use it?
That’s not a problem. You can still login using your current email and password. We still encrypt your password and protect you the same way we always have.
