A machinery safety system is critical for the management of your machinery compliance and fleet risk management. So how does a company set up a machinery safety system? Plant Assessor co-owners, Paul Dean and Matthew Turner discuss 8 tips for implementing a machinery safety system to protect your workers from injury and protect your business from prosecution.
About the presenters
Paul Dean
Paul is the founder, visionary, co-owner and CEO of Plant Assessor. He spent many years working in the plumbing, construction and machinery supply industries, where he developed a deep knowledge of machinery compliance, and was inspired to invent Plant Assessor. Paul’s understanding of Australian standards, regulations and legislation relating to machinery, safety and compliance is second to none, allowing him to develop the IP behind the Plant Assessor product.
Matthew Turner
Matthew has been co-owner of Plant Assessor since 2004, and Managing Director since 2008. Prior to Plant Assessor, Matthew gained extensive experience in general management of heavy industrial, manufacturing and distribution businesses. As a result, Matthew has developed a deep understanding of workplace health and safety management and behavioural safety management.
