A man has died in a tragic workplace accident in Sydney this morning.
The construction worker’s body was found beside a truck on a property at Marsden Park this morning after a crane struck power lines on the site. Police were called to the property in Sydney’s northwest around 5am after the property owner reported a truck fitted with a crane had been abandoned. When officers arrived they saw that a truck fitted with a crane had struck overhead wires. The truck’s engine was still running and a man was seen lying beside the vehicle. Emergency services were unable to immediately reach the man until the area was rendered safe, and when paramedics got to the man he was unable to be revived.
