Meet the newest member of the Professional Services team!

We've had a new addition to the Professional Services team this month. Get to know Adam; you might even see him out on the road!

Adam Pratt – Professional Services Consultant

Background: I was born in Waratah and went to Toronto High School. I've lived in Blackalls Park my whole life, though I did a short stint living at Nelson Bay for around 3 months. I am an only child, thank goodness! When I was young, I excelled at tennis, though I never pursued it.

Education: I only went as far as year 9 in school. I hated it and just wanted to work and earn money as a teenager. As an adult with hindsight, I know I should have stayed. However, I have obtained my forklift ticket and my white card for past jobs.

Career: My first job was in a furniture manufacturing company as a 15 year old. I felt so young but the boys made me feel at home and took me under their wing. I stayed there for 7 years.

Last job: My most recent job was at a pump manufacturing company as a supervisor in the compounding department. I managed a team of 4 people and made the plastic to make the pump parts.

Outside work: I currently have a partner and we have been together now for just over 6 years. We have no kids yet but it's definitely in the future plans. No pets as yet either, though there might be a little puppy running around soon as my partner would love one. On the weekends, I like to spend my time with my partner as she works a lot too, but my side passion is car detailing as I really enjoy making a dirty car shiny again. I basically like and know all things detailing.
