PAYG Pricing Explained
Here at Plant Assessor, we’re devoted to making plant safety easy and accessible for all businesses, great and small. As our customer base continues to grow, we realised it was important to offer a variety of flexible pricing options to suit a broader range of clients.
Since we launched the PAYG (Pay As You Go) membership in April 2017 we have had a huge uptake from businesses with smaller fleets who are looking for flexible and affordable payment arrangements. The feedback we’ve received has been extremely positive, so we’d like to take the opportunity to illustrate the Pay As You Go pricing structure and suggest ways you can embed these processes in your business.
PAYG pricing allows absolute flexibility and ensures that you are only paying for the features you need and use on a per machine basis. To manage this, we have created unique pricing levels so you can decide which features are important for your business.
- Pay as you go – Whether you have 1 or 30+ machines, you can pay as little as $0 – $3 per machine, per month
- Chose which features you use for each machine – have a combination of free and premium machines in your membership
- Change machine level and pricing at any time
How does it work for me?
Meet James – JJ Earthmoving
James, a small owner/operator with three machines and has been asked to provide risk assessments and documentation for the machines he has working on site to the site supervisor.
James has the following machines on site:
James membership would look like this:
James’ minimum fee for the three assessments (and unlimited use of all edge features) would be $288 over the first 12 months (12 x $24.)
After this period, he can choose whether to continue on at an edge level with access to all premium features, or he can choose to change the machine level to free (what we call “downgrade”), allowing him flexibility in managing and minimising his monthly costs.
How does it work for me?
Meet Henry – HVU Earthmoving
Henry, owns an earthmoving company (28 machines) and has found time to enter 7 machines and 7 utility vehicles into his Plant Assessor membership
He is looking to:
- Reduce the cost and efficiency of daily pre-ops by getting his operators to use Plant Assessor and the Pre Start Plus app
- Give his operators access to critical machine safety information when they are on a job
He has had his office staff upload documents for the operators to access on some of his machines this month, and will continue until all machines and vehicles are entered.
Henry’s billing screen at this point will look like this:
Henry can remove any of these machines or vehicles from his membership at any time. There is no minimum term for free or plus level machines.
As you can see, a larger fleet doesn’t necessarily mean higher fees.
The amount you pay really depends on what features you find valuable at that point in time.
Hopefully you now have a better understanding of our PAYG pricing and how you can use it to get the most value for your business.
